About our window cleaning service

• We clean your windows at eye level with a squeegee. using a non toxic cleaning solution that is also very mild. Some companies add ammonia or rubbing alcohol that does help breaking down the built in dirt, but window manufacturers don't recommend this because it will over time dissolve the seal on your windows.

• We put a drop towel under each window inside, and also wear shoe covers as well.

• We're able to take paint over spray off.

• Our ladders have stand off's at the top for safety, and to protect your siding or gutter faces.

• Can easily work around schedules such as customers with home offices, or kids/baby nap times.

• For customers that work during the week we have Saturdays available as well.

• Outside we are careful with your landscaping (plants and flowers).

About us past, and present

Our family moved to the beautiful state of South Carolina in the summer of 2021. My wife Jennifer, son Joshua, and daughter Rachel are excited for new adventures in this great area of South Carolina.

I grew up in Toronto, Canada, and my wife Jennifer in the Portland, Oregon area. Yes Canada is cold, and Oregon as beautiful as the mountains and scenery is, is rainy and dark for half the year. We decided living in Oregon it was time to move to a part of the Country where the quality of life, the people, and culture are also great.

Growing up in Toronto, Canada we would often take road trips up and down the east coast looking for sunshine and beaches. I always felt South Carolina was that hidden gem that gets missed. And yes we were those idiot Canadians swimming at the beach in March. South Carolina has that laid back enjoy life attitude similar to the Hawaiin islands that we enjoyed. Maybe someday we'll even get a golf cart to really fit in.

My wife Jennifer, and I originally started a window cleaning business in 2001 called Clearly Amazing located outside of the Portland Oregon area. We grew this business to thousands of great customers and later expanded and moved to Kihei Maui in Hawaii. This business we later sold and is now a national chain located in multiple states with the same original services, and systems that we had started.

Today we are excited to grow a much smaller residential cleaning service business that can meet the needs of our customers around the Lake Murray Columbia area. I very much enjoy getting out and working myself in the many great neighborhoods. Being a little ADHD I feel more at home on a roof hanging Christmas lights, or cleaning out gutters than I would sitting at a desk in an air conditioned office. (Well most days in August I might trade for the air conditioned office).

Common questions customers ask

Do I need to be home on the day of work? You don't have to be home especially for outside services like gutters or hanging Christmas lights. For our window cleaning services most customers are home for the inside cleaning. If customers want just the outside windows we can also do. Since many window screens are taken off from the inside then we would have to come inside, or customers could also take their own screens off before we arrive.

How does a quote work?

Quotes can be done by looking up your home on google maps, or text a few pictures. If your home is newer and is not yet on google maps then we could come out in person. Depending on the service, like pressure washing a driveway is pretty easy to explain over the phone or text. Some customers might also send a photo of the work they want done as well. For a window quote our rates are based on each window pane and as long as I can see each side of your house to count windows then with a photo of each side will work as well. Google maps also has a 3D birds eyes view that helps for a quote. If you have multiple services needed, or would like to just meet us in person then an in-person quote can be done as well.

Does my quote stay the same after the work is done?
Yes, we always honor a service quote. Some companies give a price with an extreme range that may turn into a mystery price much higher when they are done. As a consumer myself, and a family with a budget I don't like mystery prices. An estimate is different than a quote, since most of our services are pretty straight forward, we can give a very accurate amount for you. Sometimes customers might change what is needed then we can adjust the rate before we get started.

Does rain affect clean windows?

Rainwater doesn't have minerals like water from a garden hose or tap water. This is why many houses with shower doors in their bath room will have mineral spots in the glass. Your windows will stay as clean even after it rains. The only time the rain does cause issues is in parts of the country where it hardly rains and built up dust and dirt has accumulated on the siding. Then the first rain washes the dirt from the siding onto the windows. Since we live in the great state of South Carolina, It rains often enough, and hard enough to rinse the dirt off more often. Over time siding will also get dirty, but this dirt is much harder to come off, and usually needs a light pressure washing.

Our Christmas decorating service can vary quite a lot from one house to another. Some customers just need the upper sections, and tall peaks they can't reach.
